We fished the mouth of the pass all the way to the jetties and then 20 miles down the beach. We had Scott Holt of UT on the boat trying to sat. tag a couple of fish. Weather was perfect flat calm all weekend. Long story short everything was there except tarpon in numbers. We had bait and the water temp was 79-80. There were fish around but they were acting very weird and lethargic. We ended up jumping one fish in about 40 feet of water around 2 in the afternoon Sunday. We marked them right before the strike, we literally had to run them over to find them. We blame it on Ike. I think that was the last trip of the season for our tarpon boat. Back to blue water!
